Voting Wisely!

Vote wisely by supporting candidates and policies that Curtail the Power of Money, the Power of Religion, and the Power of the Kingdoms of the World.

I voted by mail a few weeks before Election Day. How did I decide what candidates and policies to support? I did my best to support candidates and policies that curtail the Power of Money, the Power of Religion, and the Power of the Kingdoms of the World.

Why?

Because early in his public ministry Jesus overcame the temptations of the Power of Money, the Power of Religion, and the Power of the Kingdoms of the World. (Matthew 4:1-11; Luke 4:1-13).

How?

Curtail the Power of Money by voting for candidates who are honest, and who will insist on independent audits and on courageous oversight of government officials and programs.

Curtail the Power of Religion by voting for candidates who will encourage diverse opinions and who believe that the Freedom of Speech and the Freedom of Religion are sacred.

Curtail the Power of the Kingdoms of the World by voting for candidates who will encourage limitations on the power of government by insisting on due process of law before searching, arresting, or deporting people, and who believe that the Congress and the Courts must restrain the powers of the President and ensure that the President faithfully executes the laws and defends the Constitution.

THINGS TO THINK ABOUT
