This morning I saw alarming reports that some states are so overwhelmed by Covid patients that they are rationing health care and triaging patients.

I thought how fortunate we are that God never “rations” his love nor “triages” which people he loves.

Instead, the LORD God loves ALL people. (Isaiah 2:1-4).

“For God so loved the world that he gave [Jesus to us so] that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16 (emphasis added)).

“For God did not send [Jesus] into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.” (John 3:17).

Therefore, “neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 8:38-39).

This joy of ours from the LORD is never rationed nor triaged. (Nehemiah 8:10).

And, therefore, this joy of ours from the LORD is our strength! (Nehemiah 8:10).
